How can I make folders behave?
Hi
I know this sounds like a stupid observation but every time I open a
folder in Vista it seems the layout is completely random. For example,
I opened my crystal reports patch folder and it displays large icons,
and column headers that say email, business phone, home phone.....
What made vista decide that there were email contacts in the patch
folder? I mean its full of .bat, .dll & .exe files. Sometimes it shows
my photos in detail list when I want the large icons I had last time.
If I must I will be happy to set each folder up but there has got to be
a better way. Can I universally set them so they are in detail view?
thanks

If it makes you feel any better, you're not alone. I remember fighting with
this same issue in other initial issue MSFT OS's ... Vista has been no
exception.
