I have the same problem. My BIOS is up to date.
If I leave the computer on and walk away for a couple of hours, sometimes
when I come back and move the trackball to wake it up, it does not wake up.
The CPU is on, the Monitor is asleep. Nothing works. I have to turn the CPU
OFF and then ON again. Some times it comes back with DO YOU WANT TO RUN in
SAFE MODE. I always select NORMAL and it comes back up.
It is driving me crazy. Sometimes as in my separate POST, the screen saver
Aquarium freezes and I have to turn the CPU off and On to get my computer
back.
