Sidebar calendar
The sidebar calendar that comes with vista basic has simply disappeared(It's
orange in color ,looks like it has a wire top, etc.) I can't locate it
anywhere, I've searched through ever gadget available& it's nowhere to be
found; any suggestions? All help would be appreciated) I assumed it would be
available on the windows vista gadget site.

Re: Sidebar calendar
Right-click on the Sidebar, choose "Properties" & tell it to "restore" the
gadgets installed with Windows.

Re: Sidebar calendar
The problem with my sidebar calendar is: its still there under my gadgets,
but when I drag it onto the sidebar from the gadgets window, it just shows an
orange screen with no dates or anything. i tried uninstalling it from the
gadgets and restoring it by right-clicking on the sidebar and going to
properties but that didnt solve it. Anyone have ideas?

Also click on the 'orange screen'.

Re: Sidebar calendar
Thanks Fred. However, by restoring the the gadget won't solve to show the
date in my case. It still shows plain orange notepad without any date.

Re: Sidebar calendar
I have this same problem... has anyone found a remedy?

If I try to reload it I get a run time error: "loc.month.short" is null or
not an object & it will not bebug.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Sidebar calendar
Some antivirus apps stop some gadgets. Try turning that off to test.

Hello armodavx9,
Put your cursor over the calender, left click. That's it.
