Windows Explorer crashes when doing cut and paste

If i try to cut and paste, Windows explorer crashes. It doesn't matter if I
am doing this from one window to another or if I cut, then navigate to where
i want to paste the file, then paster it...any ideas?

Have you tried both a Disk Check on your Windows Volume and a Memory Check
(Memory Checker is in Administration Tools within Control Panel)?

If neither of them solve the problem, it sounds more serious and hopefully
someone with more knowledge will come by and see this and offer some
solution.

I'm having the same problem. I think it has to do with the UAC thing as
normally when you need administrator permission to move/copy files, the UAC
pop up a message requesting permission but sometime the UAC thing does not
pop up, so explorer just hang there.

By the way, the problem exists in both of my computers with Vista Ultimate.
Darn, it's a waste of money. Imagine, me buying 2 Ultimate and got this as a
result.

Try using for several day. Also try to hibernate and standby the system
several times. Then the problem will appear.
