Vista Control Panel Problems

Hi,

Upgraded XP to Vista at the weekend (it was not too great with probably
30 to 35 driver compatibility issues, but I am through most of them
now).

The main problem I have left is that every time I click on control
panel, the app is loading (green bar moves progressivly across the top)
but never gets to the end and I don't get to see the Control Panel.

If I click on the only button there - Classic Control Panel, I am able
to display that and can then click on the Vista Control Panel and it
will then display. But NEVER unless I go to Classic view first. Even if
I leave it for an hour.

Any ideas good people?

Sounds like you have an installation problem. I would remove all your
plug-in accessories and reinstall the os and add the acessories back one at
a time.

Thanks Mario - hoping not to sound like a newbie with this next question
as I'm not and have solved dozens of issues since my upgrade, but....

How do I uninstall add-ins? They don't seem to appear in Vista's
control panel...
