Window vista 2nd release or service pack

Does anyone know when microsoft will release a 2nd release of windows vista
or service pack?

The differences between Vista Beta (all previous Versions) and Vista Retail
(RTM) are not only enormous, today they are seemingly as different as day and
night.

Seriously, there might not ever be what historically has been known as a
service pack for Vista RTM, secondary to the enormous changes from Vista
Beta; currently the major updates for RTM are silent Updates, hence, no need
for a “service pack�.

Please consider and always remember, Vista Technology is not XP Technology.
However, one might consider that Vista RTM is/was supposedly the "service
pack". Seriously, the 2nd release of Windows Vista was a few years back,
before Vista RTM.

Actually, silent updates has been around for a long time. And there will
still be service packs. Service packs just rollup all the previous patches
into one, more manageable, update - though starting with Windows XP SP2,
they are becoming the means by which to deliver new functionality or
features as well.

And here, all this time, I thought you were Bill Gates.
