Thanks for the quick response. I attempted your suggestion and the results
are the same. I created two screenshots of my start menu to provide a better
understanding of what I am trying to accomplish.
The image found at the following URL shows the "Test Folder" with the
default VISTA sorting. You'll notice the folders are below the individual
shortcuts. URL:

The image found at this URL shows the sort order I am trying to achieve. I
was able to do this easily with XP. URL:
