Updates

That explains a lot !!! Why is Vista picking up XP updates ...... if I want
update Office 2003 ..... how will this computer identify which ones to
except? The updates for Office do not indicate they are for XP only.

I have now turned off updates for 'other windows products' ..... but this
looks like a flaw in the update system!!!!

Come on Microsoft .......... sort this out.

I've tried twice to accept the latest updates (I note that a whole series of
updates were released recently according to PC PRO - who are already
suggestion a SP1 for Vista)

I left updates running overnight .... said not to unplug or close down
whilst updates are being installed ..... first time stuck on 7% completion
..... restored computer to before the updates - this time it has stuck at 4%
after 4hours!!!! whats going on?????

Any one with a solution ..... i.e Microsoft????

Yes, a whole pile of updates were released... for XP (patch tuesday) but not
for Vista.
