Upgrade from Premium to Business
I have a new laptop with Home Premium installed. If I upgrade to Business,
will the media center and photo options that came with Premium remain...or
will they be wiped out by installing the Business upgrade version?

Re: Upgrade from Premium to Business
I don't think you can upgrade from Home Premium to Business without a clean
install. You can upgrade to Ultimate from Home Premium.....

You can't do an upgrade in place from VHP to Business. Only a custom
install though you can use a Business upgrade version to do it. You will
get with Business only those features that come with Business.

The upgrade in place path for VHP is to Vista Ultimate.

THey'll be wiped. Stick with Home unless you need to join a Domain.
THere's little of value in it for the average Joe.

Thanks Conor, that's the info I was looking for...I do indeed need to join a
Domain at my office. Guess I'll have to pony up for Ultimate...
