Actually if you search among the posts on this forum, you will find some

VISTA is not a stupid OS - Even if it can't automatically determine the
difference between a write-once CD and a re-writable CD.

As for the useless animated desktop - Admit it, we all need a distraction
from dwelling on the misery-making coding bugs running amok in this final
*beta* version.
