Opening Word and Excel Documents on a Network
Vista will not allow me to open either a Word or Excel document when viewed
on my network. "Assess Denied, Contact your Administrator" is all that comes
up. I have administrator rights and have tried changing allow access for all.
The PC I am accessing is running XP. Other documents, for example PDF, open
without any problem.

Re: Opening Word and Excel Documents on a Network
I agree. I often get "you need admin rights..." kind of messages. I know
there is new security built into VISTA, but I'm running into the admin
rights problem at least once a day, with nothing I can do about it. Right
clicking on the program and "run as administrator" doesn't resolve the
problem in all cases.
