Those uninstaller programs actually need to be installed before the
applications were installed for it to be totally effective, as it monitors
what is done when an app is being installed. It won't do a very good job
with the stuff that vendors like Dell install on new machines before the
uninstall app was installed.

Re: Uninstaller program for Vista??

Dunno if you've booted a "new" (pre-installed) computer recently but
there are literally /dozens/ of apps in varying stages of
installation. It's a royal pain in the arse to clear these out
manually.

The only thing is part of the problem is that many of these programs
don't show up in the Add/Remove Programs on an pre-installed OEM
system so the Add/Remove Programs will not works on them.
