Vista auto lock
Just recently, my computer has switched to a system where if left idle for 5
minutes, it will lockdown and asks for a password to log back in. I've tried
looking everywhere to disable this as I've not set vista to do this. How can
I stop this from happening?

RE: Vista auto lock
This is caused by the systems screensaver settings.

If you right click on the desktop, select personalize.

Click on Screensaver. The checkbox that toggles this is labels "On Resume,
Display logon Screen"

Have you looked at the Power Options?

Re: Vista auto lock
My friend is having a similar issue.

Issue started soon after he downloaded the most recent security pack upgrade for Vista.

His power options are NOT set to idle, turn off display, log off, or turn off computer, and he has NO screen saver option enabled.
