MSSQL
I have a program that inorder for it to install, it needs to start the MSSQL
service. How can I get that service without buying Microsoft SQL Server?

Re: MSSQL
Hello,

there's the SQL Server 2005 Express Edition
(http://www.microsoft.com/sql/edition...s/default.mspx)
and the SQL Server 2008 preview
(http://www.microsoft.com/sql/prodinf...n/default.mspx) which are
free.
The Express Edition has some restrictions, and I think that the 2008 is a
trial, but I'm not sure.

Greetings,

You install MS SQL Server on the machine, most likely the Workstation
version of SQL Server. Maybe, you know someone that has a SQL Server CD
that you can use, because SQL Server the full version is not free.

The free versions of SQL Server, like SQL Server 2005 Express may not
correct you problem, but you can try them.
