Where or How to Download Ultimate Extras _ I have Vista Ultimate
I have Vista Ultimate. Whenever I click on Ultimate Extras, it tries to go
somewhere and I will get this window saying some settings were set by my
administrator. I need to manually download andinstall them because of the
group security policy that got pushed to my laptop which is a (separate
issue) problem as well right now

thanks in advance

You can only access the Vista Ultimate Extras by direct download to your PC
via the Updates applet.
If your administrator has blocked this through Group Policy then you must
deal with them about this. There is no manual download location available.

You'll probably find that there's actually no extras worth having at
the moment. One game, one enhancement to BitLocker and a PREVIEW of a
pointless desktop video thing (Dreamscene).

So I shouldn't rush....

I second Mike's advice - your network or system administrator needs to turn
off automatic updating before you can get to Windows Update or Microsoft
Update via the Web.
