You'll be amazed at what basic file recovery software can recover.
As long as they are not defragging or doing anything to overwrite the space
once occupied by the deleted files, they stand a good chance of getting them
back.
They may have to go through the whole collection renaming & editing the tags
on all of them though.
Personally i'd just fire up Ares & chalk it down to experience :-)
