Flobie, you shouldn't be having any problems with your Gateway computer,
certainly not problems of this type, not when it's new. Gateway misinformed
you. Software support for whatever is preinstalled on the system is the
responsibility of the OEM, Original Equipment Manufacturer, in your case,
Gateway.
We can try to help but we will need your laptop's specs, processor type and
speed, how much memory, is the memory shared with the graphics card, if yes,
how much, whether or not you've installed other programs, what programs and
versions and precisely what it is you are trying to do and steps you
followed.
Given that this is a relatively new computer, if it's not working properly,
you should return it for a replacement. By the way, making such a demand of
Gateway might also provide the incentive Gateway needs to provide you with
the proper assistance.
