snipping tool shows odd screen
Hi I have Vista Premium 64bit OEM version. When I go to use the snipping tool
it will work maybe one time...then the 2nd time and there after, the screen
will show my taskbar repeatedly...and even if I highlight my repeated
taskbar...that is exactly what vista captures as a shot.

I should be seeing a grey overlay that I can see thru...but instead..just
repeated taskbar.

Anyone else having this issue? How can I make snipping tool work?
AMD 3700+ 64bit, 3gb ram, sata 300g, on a BFG 7600 512MB (AGP) video card
(with nvidia's latest drivers).

Not sure why you are having this problem - I haven't seen it before. Someone
else maybe able to help.

As a workaround however remember that you can print the screen (Shift+Prt
Sc, up next to F12) to the clipboard and then paste that into Paint - where
you can trim it etc and save in many formats.

Re: snipping tool shows odd screen
Thanks for a reply....now to make it more odd....The snipping tool still acts
the same way on a fresh install of vista (on same machine). So im really
confused as to why its like this. I have no other display issues and my video
card has a vista rating at 4.1(my lowest score)....Guess I will have to use
the prnt scrn button
