Speech recognition

Hello,

I'm having a problem configuring the speech recognition option in the
control panel.
The window supposed to configure the Speech Recognition has nothing in.
Currently I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium (Brazilian version) and it
was installed just a few days ago. How can I get it working? If portuguese is
not currently supported, how can I enable it in english?

SR won't really care which language you talk to it in - it's simply
associating noises with commands - that's why you have to train it.

Mac, the problem is not in the language I yould like to speak. The problem is
in enabling it. The window shows the following:

It's impossible to configure it without the buttons. I want to know if is
there anything to do to fix this.
