Asus M2N sli Deluxe BSOD

hi i have just purchased vista and tried to install it onto my computer and
when it gets to expanding files it either finishes that bit then gives me a
blue screen of death or it will just freeze halfway though it.

i have tried to do it as an upgrade but when i go to install xp sp2 it gets
half way though that and says it cannot complete then i get bsod's again.

Windows Vista Ultimate Retail Edition
mother board: asus m2n sli deluxe
memory: 2x 512mb
graphics: radeon x800 gto

I have that exact MB. I had a lot of BSOD until I went into the BIOS and set
the memory voltage from Auto to 2.1V.
You might want to check what memory you are running and set the voltage
manually. It worked for me not a single problem since.
