Cannot find the way to create a shortcut on the desktop to open Windows
Explorer in Computer.
I can do it for my entire account, for any disk, but not for Computer.

Thank you

Re: Windows Explorer Shortcut
Start/All Programs/Accessories. Right click on Windows Explorer and there
is an option to add it to Quick Launch.

Hold the Windows key and press E. Still works in Vista.

Re: Windows Explorer Shortcut
You can right-click on 'Computer' in the Start Menu & select 'Show on
Desktop'

or give a shortcut this target:

C:\Windows\explorer.exe ::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}

Right click desktop and choose Personalize.
In the left hand column, select "Change desktop icons"
On next screen that appears, place check next to Computer.
OK way back to desktop.

The new "computer" icon will open explorer with the focus on just that =
"computer"
