Re: Downloads folder - very strange problem
Vista may be confused as to the 'Owner' of files transferred over from
another OS.
Take ownership of the files/folder in question and they should run.
Right click/Properties/Security Tab/Advanced Button/Owner Tab/Edit Button.
If you intend to keep these files exclusive to Vista, and you see an odd
account listed such as:
Account Unknown (S-blahblah long number), you can remove that account--it's
the old XP.
