security issue
I am new to Vista and I am enjoying learning all I can. I have run into
something I can't figure out and hope you can help. I want to log in a site
where I can view my weekly pay stubs and all that personal payroll stuff.
Vista won't let me. It takes me to a screen that says I have been logged
out because I have been idle for over 20 minutes. I then went to my old
computer and logged right in, so I know it's a security issue with Vista.
I looked around to see if I need to add this site to my firewall but I can't
even find that. (I have Norton). Any suggestions? I appreciate your help.

Re: security issue
I only have a couple ideas, and they're just ideas:

1. Put the website you are logging on to in your "Trusted Zone".

Start IE7 > Tools > Internet Options > Security > hightlight the "Trusted
sites" icon (looks like a big green checkmark) then hit the "Sites" button
beneath it > add the address of the site (e.g. http://www.somesite.com)
that you want to log on to to the list .. you might have to uncheck the
"Require server verification (https for all sites in this zone" checkbox
if it is an http and not an https website.

2. Alert the website's administrators you are having issues with loggining
using Vista.

Is the site compatible with IE7. I know the site where I get info on
my check isn't nor is the online banking that I use. There are many
sites out there that aren't compatible with IE7 yet.
