All folders are read only
all of a sudden all of my folders are now read only. I am unable to run a
program executable from the temp folder because it has to unpack the files.
Unfortunately, the files unpack but when the program attempts to install it
is locked out. It says that the temp folder is full or I dont have write
permission for it. no matter how many times I disable the read only check
box it always comes back up as read only. Any ideas why?

oh, and by the way, the program I want to install is the acrobat reader so I
know it is safe.

Re: All folders are read only
Run it "Elevated": right click on the Reader exe and select "Run as
Administrator".

Re: All folders are read only
If you have turned off UAC (User Account Control), Adobe Reader won't
install. Turn it back on and install Reader, then turn it off again.
