I have dual 300G drives in a Netgear Storage Central that doesn't work. I
have 2 external USB drives from Maxtor that don't work, and my Memorex
Traveldrive doesnt' work, but this is not M$ fault? The patch for my One
Touch III says that I need to reformat the drive that XP and 2000 can read
fine.
I was just kidding you all on the Me part :-) Right now, I'd compare Vista
to Me in terns of usefulness. They both suck. If my XP laptop had not
failed, or had I just been smart enough to buy before Vista...oh I didn't
need a laptop before that :-)
Anyway. I'm not happy with how Vista is trying to save me from hackers,
crackers, and thieves. (or Gypsies and Tramps for that matter). If my new
box was not Vista specific, or HP made drivers for the hardware, I'd go back
to XP Pro in a minute. I still might pull the HD and give it a whirl anyway.
