syncing with t-mobile mda not working with final release.

I just installed Vista Ultimate fresh, and there is no attempt to sync to
outlook.
this all worked fine with previous beta's.
When I plug in my t-mobile mda, it tries to sync media files ok, but nothing
happens with outlook.
HELP!!! this is my LIFE!!!

It's not worth the hunt. It is an abomination.

You're welcome. Glad it was easy for you. It's not part of the OS so it
really doesn't belong in WU, but then again why wasn't it including in the
OS is the question.

Jimmy,

Check under your Windows Update settings to see if
"Use Microsoft Update" is checked.
"You will receive updates for Windows and other products from Microsoft update"

Having that checked *should* get you updates for other
Microsoft products.

Having same problem with Vista Business.

Sometimes it sees the phone, sometimes it does not. Even after "successful
sync" nothing is sync'd.

ActiveSync is bad but this MDC is awful.

Bought new laptop from DELL and neither Microsoft or DELL provide free
support on the OS.
