"Upgrade" Vista Home Premium (OEM) to Vista Home Premium (Retail Upgrade)
Hi -

Can I upgrade Vista Home Premum (OEM) to Vista Home Premium (Retail
Upgrade)? I realize this is theoretically the same product. I'm
looking to replace a polluted OEM version of Vista produced by HP.

Thanks for any advice.

To get rid of the background pollution, caused by the hardware
manufacturers, you would have to perform a clean install. Why don't you get
a plain vanilla OEM version for about half the price of retail? It is
basically retail without any M/S support. You are your own support.
