dll error with shockwave

Hello, I have a new computer with vista home premium 64 bit. Have tried
several times to install shockwave and flash player. Can get flash to
work but after installing shockwave I receive an error stating...

No Load DLL lib. c:\windows\system32\macromed\shockwave10\gi.dll. The
application has failed to start because its side by side configuration
is incorrect. See application event log.

I did find the sysWOW64 folder. I went to Macromed it shows 2 file
folders one says FLASH the other says SHOCKWAVE 10. FLASH folder shows
install, and the SHOCKWAVE 10 folder shows gi.dll & gtapi.dll. Don't
know if that tells anyone anything, it sure doesn't mean a thing to me.

Not real computer savvy so if anyone can enlighten me as to how to
remedy this I would be appreciative.

Hello, the only thing you have to do is to copy the folders "Director"
and "Shockwave 10" of the directory "C\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\" to
"C\Windows\System32\Macromed\" and now you can install Shockwave.
