Problems Re-activating Windows Vista
I loaded Windows Vista Home Premium and then a week later, I added another MB
of memory so that it would run faster. After instaling the new memory,
Windows popped up with a message that said it recognized change so I have to
re-adctivate it. All I did was load more memory. I went to go activate it
again and I entered my product ID correctly; however, it says that it is
still in use. I don't know what to do.

Re: Problems Re-activating Windows Vista
I had the same problem as you and all I had to activate by phone. It was easy
but shouldn't have had to.
All I did was change my monitor from a samsung to a bigger samsung???
Bit of overkill in my opinion.

Changing the monitor should not cause re-activation! I changed mine from a
four-year old Tatung to a 20" HP model and there was no need to re-activate.

thats what i thought. Looks like there's still a lot of bugs to be worked out.
It turned out curry's had sent the wrong model so i had to change my monitor
again and no activation issues this time???

Why? Don't you know that software pirates are always changing their
monitors? Microsoft knows.

Love and Kisses,

RE: Problems Re-activating Windows Vista
I have had the same problem after re-installing vista - can anyone give me
the phone number (UK) as this seems the only option.
