(ot) fast enough for you?
is this fast enough?

I would need 8.3 years with my current 1mb connection to download the data I
could download with this connection in 1 month.

56k was blazing fast a few years back. Now it's slow. 1.5Mb was fast!
Now, it's just ok...

It's never fast enough!

Re: (ot) fast enough for you?
there is a threshold of the amount of information one person can absorb...
its a biological limit. But of course the data volume will increase if you
download for example High definition movies...

but just think of it.. in 1 day you can download more MP3 songs than you can
listen to in
30 years of continuous playback 24/7!!!

lol

(I didn't calculate it but it sounds right)

However there is also a possibility that they will create a USB plug
directly to the brain...

LET THE DOWNLOADS BEGIN!!!! :-)

Re: (ot) fast enough for you?
with 56k, pages were a lot of text. As broadband came into the picture
more had pictures, flash, and video. Now, as speeds get higher, we will
have the high def on the internet. It's all about the software taking
advantage of the hardware. And I love seeing them play the game of leapfrog!

Things ALWAYS take advantage of the greater speeds.

And, when do I get my USB plug for my brain?
