Error Code 8024402C
I am unable to connect to the Windows Update Site. I keep getting this
error message. I have gone to the Knowledge Base article about this error,
but the steps it shows to resolve it (Method 2) I don't see the places it
states to automatically connect to the ISA server. Below are the steps the
article states. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

Method 2: Turn on the "Automatically detect ISA server" feature in ISA
Firewall Client
If you are using Microsoft ISA Firewall Client, turn on the Automatically
detect ISA server feature. To do this, follow these steps:1. In Control
Panel, double-click Firewall Client, or right-click the ISA Firewall Client
icon in the notification area.
2. Click Configure.
3. Click to select the Automatically detect ISA server check box.
4. Click Update Now, and then click OK

Re: Error Code 8024402C
Denny, I don't know what MSKB you're using, but you would have to dl the ISA
firewall client and use ISA server to do that--perhaps there is another
alternative for you in that MSKB or somewhere else. What's the key wording
of the error message and what does typing eventvwr.msc in run b ox and
clicking on application or system and arrowing down to time you try to
access MSFT Update with MSFT Update or Windows Update as the source tell
you?
