Compatability of Vista With MS Office for XP
I have a new laptop with Vista home basic and would like to use my microsoft
Office XP standard for students and teachers which I had for my old laptop,
does anyone know if this program will be compatible?

It's not supported, only Office 2003 and Office 2007 are supported on
Vista.

However, Office XP will probably install and run with a few issues, one
being that Outlook will not retain your user information, you'll have
to re-enter it every time you open Outlook. You may very likely run
into other problems, search the archives of this group for more
information.

Sorry, I should have said, "search the archives of this group and the
Office groups for more information."
