Downloading Gadgets
A new Vista user, when downloading gadgets from Microsoft Gallery... they
seem to go through the install process but then they are not to be found...
I've tried installing, downloading and then installing but I can't find
them... What am I doing??? They don't appear on the gadget pallet

Which prompts do you get?

On the Gadget site you should get after clicking on Download to Sidebar:

Please read carefully.... Install | Don't install.

Then you should get the File Download, click Open and you should get:

Internet Explorer Security... A website wants to open web content.......
Click allow and....

Windows Sidebar - Security Warning.... Install | Don't install.

Phew... After clicking on install it should load up automatically. At which
point for you does it break down?
