'Single CLick' icons
Hi all,

Is it possible to configure the icons on the desktop to open with a single
click?

Like in Win98 (dare I mention it...lol) the icons had a line under their
names indicating they could be opened with a single click.

TIA

Sure, same way as in XP. Open an Explorer window, tap the Alt key to bring
up the menu bar, then choose Tools | Folder Options | Single click to open
an item.

Re: 'Single CLick' icons
When I did a search in vista help for single click this information did not
come up. After reading your post, I tried single-click and that did not come
up either.

Re: 'Single CLick' icons
Open explorer and select the Organize button. From there select the folder
and search options. You will find it there.
