Mozilla Firefox
Can any one please help? Just a few days ago, every time I try to open my web
browser (Mozill Firefox 2.0.0.3) I get a message from UAC asking permission
to open. This never happened before.

Any ideas if this is a bug etc ?

Many thanks in anticipation

Re: Mozilla Firefox
Hi
If like you have selected Firefox to run as "Administrator" then you will
always get the UAC prompt. Right click the Mozilla Icon and choose
properties / Compatibility if there is a mark in the "Run this program as an
administrator" remove it.

Read more ojn UAC here

Think this might help... See this section-:

of UAC (User Account Control)'

I've not experienced any such problem running just Firefox 2.0.0.3, by
itself. Have you, by any chance, installed any additional extensions
that might be causing the issue? If so, try removing the one(s)
installed just prior to the onset of the problem.

Not a bug, but Vista is a pain-in-the-ass when it comes to pestering you
with security questions. I turned OFF user account control to stop this
crap.
