Hello, I'm new to the site so if this is in the wrong section, my
apology. I have three issues with my Dell Studio 1735 laptop.
1. Whenever I turn it on (I have ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 card if
that helps) or try to run the ATI Catalyst Control Center, I get the
following error message:
"Could not load file or assembly 'MOM.Implementation, Version=
2.0.3182.4658, Culture= neutral, PublicKey Token=90ba9c70f846762e' or
one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."
I went to Dell Support and downloaded every download/driver update for
my specific laptop, some worked, some were outdated, and others would
not work. After going through this process I got the same error message
with turning on the laptop or going into the ATI Catalyst Control
Center.
2. In addition to this continuing problem my Dell Dock disappeared. I
tried to open it up, but it asks for the CD that came with it and I
cannot find it. Someone had recommended I uninstall and then reinstall
from online, but whenever I try to uninstall it won't let me.
3. I tried to do a system restore, which is what revealed the third
problem. When I attempted to do a system restore I got the following
message:
"The disk OS (C

has errors.
Windows has detected file system corruption on OS (C

. You must check
the disk for errors before it can be restored.
Check the disk for errors"
When I click the check the disk for errors, it says that I cannot do it
now, but can at next startup. When I do this it runs at startup and in
the bottom right a message pops up that says:
"sprtcmd.exe - Corrupt File
The file or directory C:\\PROGRA~1\Dell is corrupt and unreadable.
Please run the Chkdsk utility."
Any help on any of these problems would be greatly appreciated. If
anyone needs more information please let me know and I will do my best
to provide some. Thanks in advance!
