Keyboard shortcuts and language packs

I have Spanish MUI on Windows Vista Ultimate x64.

I've found that keyboard shortcuts changed when I switched languages. Like
for example, Ctrl+A is no longer Select All.

Is there a way to retain English-version keyboard shortcuts when you have
another language enabled?
