Compatibility Issue?
Hi, I have just received a new laptop with Windows Vista Premium Edition. I
went to install a software program called AD&D Core Rules (a character
generating program) on it and the program installed fine. However everytime
I open it I keep getting messages citing that access is denied to certain
files. Also when I create a character and go to save said character, when I
exit the program and return said character is no longer to be found.
It also indicates that Vista can not read .dat files whereas my xp version
can read all this stuff no problemo.

This software is extremely hard to come by and any suggestions and or help
on how to fix this problem would be great. It would really suck that I shell
out all these bucks for microsfts new fangled operating system and I can even
run software on it.

Thank you
Scarr

Right-click a shortcut to the program > Properties > Advanced > Check 'Run
as Administrator' > ok > ok
