"save as" dialog missing folder view
I have a frustrating problem I have been unable to find a solution for.
today, out of the blue, I went to save a file from firefox and the "save as"
window that came up was missing the left pane that shows the folder tree,
etc. how can I get it back? I can't find the solution anywhere...

Re: "save as" dialog missing folder view
In that Save As dialog box, expand the dialog by clicking on Browse Folders
(versus Hide Folders) located at the bottom left. Then click on Organize
(in the toolbar) > Layout > Navigation Pane. When the left pane is shown,
you may have to click on Folders, at the bottom of the left pane, to see the
folder tree.

Re: "save as" dialog missing folder view
thanks, but that was the first thing I tried. it did absolutely nothing.
however, I did restart my browser and my computer and the issue went away on
its own. I don't understand how the problem happened - it was an odd one.
not being able to choose which folder to save in - that's a real problem!
