d3drm.dll loaded but not recognized

I am trying to run an rc flight sim but after downloading the d3drm.dll file
I cannot get the pc to recognize it. Please help anyone!?!

Hi Matthew,

Did you place the file in C:\Windows\System or C:\Windows\System32 ?

If its a older program, it should be in System. Older programs
reference that path, while the newer ones reference System32.

Might try running it with compatibility mode.

1. right click program (or shortcut)
2. click properties
3. click on Compatibility tab
4. under the "Compatibility Mode" area check the "Run this
program......."
5. select the OS that the program was designed for
6. click OK to apply


Could download and install the DirectX 9c from Microsoft to eventhough
Vista has DirectX 10. This will not remove directX10 & will run
separately from it. Some older programs will only work with DirectX 9
or lower.
