Vista Home Premium Update Academic: the catch?
Hi

I noticed a Vista Home Premium Updated "Academic" for half the price of the
"non-Academic" verson. It's not OEM. What's the catch for being so cheap????

You have to be a student or in the teaching profession in order
to use an academic version of Windows Vista.

A little bit of both.
For some academic licenses, the license to use expires when you leave the
particular educational institution.
Review the applicable EULA before purchasing.
Be informed.

Will Microsoft come knocking and say hand over the DVD you graduated you
can't use it anymore?
