6 billion spent in development of Vista.
According to The San Jose Mercury News, Bill Gates was quoted to have spent
6 Billion dollars to develop Vista. According to another source, the
analysts estimate 2 Billion in revenue the first year.

I have a gut feeling the next version of Windows is going to be all around
very expensive.

Re: 6 billion spent in development of Vista.
Vista is OK, but that's all they got out of $6,000,000,000. Wow!

Re: 6 billion spent in development of Vista.
They could have financed a manned trip to Mars for that much. Instead,
we got Windows Vista that still uses the ancient and boring - point and click at windows
computing. Wow - it was worth it.

Re: 6 billion spent in development of Vista.
When Bill Gates goes home at night, sits down to watch TV, 3-4 million falls
out of his pockets into the couch each night. Whats 6 Billion?
