The easiest way to do this is to use synchronization software, there are many out there but the only one i have found that does emails, files and favorites is Dmailer sync.
Synchronzie all your email data (including calendar) from Outlook, Outlook Express or Windows Mail and your files and favorites then save it to a memory stick. Then you can restore your data to the new pc you can also transfer you email to either Outlook, Outlook Express or Windows Mail. And you ie favorites to Firefox or visa versa.
Using this software will not cost you because you can do this within the free 30 day trial period.
You can download it from:

Outlook 2007 can export to iCal format, so you could sign up for a trial of
one of the Office 2007 suites which include Outlook if all else fails.
