Sound - Line In
My motherboard has Realtec AC'97 Audio on board. I downloaded and installed
the Vista drivers for it. However it doesn't show up in play properties. It
does show up in recording devices as "unavailable" and if you click on the
properties for that it says "Jack information unavailable".
I need for it to work. I have a Sabrent TV card which installed fine, but
all I get is a picture and no sound. The TV card is patched directly to the
Line In jack.
Any ideas on how to get my Line In back?
(works fine on the XP side)

Re: Sound - Line In
In my case it was solved in the following way: I just marked it as default,
and then suddenly all was OK.
However, my hardware is different (SigmaTel).
