SendTo not working
I understand that the "SendTo" folder for a user has been moved from
Documents and Settings to Users\.\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Send To

However, the shortcuts I place in this folder do not show up in my
right-click menu when I right-click on a file icon.

What am I missing?

TIA,

Mark Hammer

Re: SendTo not working
If you type "shell:sendto" (no quotes) in the Start Search box on the Start
Menu, what is the path of the folder that opens when you click on the link
in the results list?

Re: SendTo not working

In the Registry Editor, in the following key,

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\Con textMenuHandlers\Send To

check to see, in the right pane, if Value Name (default) has
{7BA4C740-9E81-11CF-99D3-00AA004AE837} as its Value Data.

Your SendTo folder seems to be registered correctly (shell:sendto).

Re: SendTo not working

Hi
Got same problem and have checked the shell and registry and both are
like they should be, but computer refuses to work anymore when i have
right-clicked mouse and put my cursor onto the "send to" option - cursor
turns to the Aero symbol for a split second, then nothing will
right-click and activate, so have to shut down computer and start again.

I've got this thread running in another section here:

http://www.vistax64.com/software/120...xplaining.html

Any help would be great as my Vista 64 Ultimate is running near-perfect
except for this and it would be a shame to have to rebuild!
