No Adobe Reader 8?
I just downloaded the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader 8. After it finishes
processing during installation, I click run and get this popup:
Windows Installer
The Temp folder is on a drive that is full or is inaccessible. Free up
space on the drive or verify that you have write permission on the Temp
folder.
All of my temp environment variables point to my C drive. I'm logged in as
Administrator and UAC is turned off.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Brett

RE: No Adobe Reader 8?
I don't have a solution for this problem but do you have a specific need for
Adobe reader other than as a PDF reader? If not, I recommend checking out
Foxit Reader which is a tiny PDF reader program that works great with Vista
RTM and has an extremely small foot print. I highly recommend it and it's
free. Been using it for years and never had any issues with it; something I
cannot say about Adobe Reader.

Re: No Adobe Reader 8?
Reader 8 installed fine on my computer (running Vista RC2).
I don't have UAC turned off. I choose to open folder first instead of run
after downloading, then select the downloaded file and install it. I don't
know if that makes a difference.
