Rather say Vista is not Logitech compatible.
Not the only example.

Extracting the XP drivers works fine for me, at least on 32bit.

hmm.. wonder if my connectix color cam 2 with the keyboard power connector,
and parallel port data line will work with vista... Just kidding. Have a
logitech pro 4000 as well. If I need to buy a new one, I guess I will have to
find one that ISN'T made by them.

I have the Logitech QuickCam Messenger and its XP drivers also work well in
Vista 32bit.

Paul, I tired the install of the XP drivers with a Quick Cam Pro 4000 using
the Logitech install CD on RC1 and RC2. Got to work once on RC1 but not
with RC2. Do you have it running on RTM?

I have a Logitech Communicator STX, and Vista drivers came out for it in
early December. But I miss the integration into explorer for the library
thing that the XP software had.
