RE: Vista-64 5600: Stop Continuous Drive Accessing (by Backup?)
After shutting down services, etc., I discovered that this nearly-constant
access of the external hard drive was being caused by Windows Defender. It
can be excluded from analysis via WD options.
For me, this issue is closed.
