IE8 is a *web-browser,* used to view web pages. What are you expecting
to spell-check\, someone else's web site?

Many newspaper web sites have viewer comments for every article. Only a
dummy wouldn't respond. Of course if you can't type you don't need spell
check.

It was good that you clarified your situation. Any spellcheck would be
provided by the website's software that allows you to post comments, not
your browser (IE8).

Re: Spellcheck?

IE7 Pro Add-on works perfectly with IE8 and the spell check is useful
for posting in the forums.

It doesn't come with one, although there are third party ones. Firefox
has one built in.

Re: Spellcheck?
Actually.....Many people use their browsers for those newfangled things
called BLOGS. One uses the browser to type in text and then posts it on the
net.

OY.
