Vista count down gadget too slow

Is there any way to speed up the count down to Windows Vista launch on the
gadget?
The gadget is way too slow, for example its reading 15 days, 18 hrs, 51 mins
as I type this, and that is way too long, especially after my media center
decoder has stopped working.

Yes. Get Vista Retail Versions early in other equally legitimate ways.
